Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1544 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْخَيْفِ قَالَ نَضَّرَ اللهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا وأَدَّاها إِلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَرُبُّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَرَبُّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ مُؤْمِنٍ إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ وَالطَّاعَةُ لِذَوِي الْأَمْرِ وَلُزُومُ جَمَاعَةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ؛ فَإِنَّ دَعْوَتَهُمْ تُحِيطُ مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ
English Translation
Narrated Jubayr ibn Mut'im: The Prophet (peace be upon him) stood at al-Khayf and said: "May Allah brighten the face of a servant who heard my words, understood them, and conveyed them to those who did not hear them. Many a carrier of knowledge has no understanding of it, and many a carrier of knowledge conveys it to one who understands it better than he does. Three things upon which the heart of a believer does not harbor ill feelings: sincerity in deeds for Allah, obedience to those in authority, and adhering to the community of the Muslims, for their supplication encompasses those behind them."
