Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1424 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ لِبَنِي الْعَبَّاسِ رَايَتَيْنِ أَعْلَاهَا كُفْرٌ وَمَرْكَزُها ضَلَالَةٌ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَهَا فَلَا تَضِلَّ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, for the descendants of al-'Abbas there are two banners — the top of one is disbelief and its base is misguidance. If you reach that time, do not go astray."
