Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11832 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَأَيْتُ بِالْأَبْطَحِ شَيْخًا أَحْمَقَ يُكَبِّرُ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ «أَوَلَيْسَ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَا أُمَّ لَكَ؟»
English Translation
Ikrimah said: I said to Ibn Abbas: 'I saw at al-Abtah an old foolish man who would say Allahu Akbar when he prostrated and when he raised his head.' He said: 'Is that not the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)? May you be without a mother!'
