Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11677 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ قِرْطَاسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ فَارْفَعُوا سَبَلَكُمْ فَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ أَصَابَ الْأَرْضَ مِنْ سَبَلِكُمْ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When you pray, raise your garment hems, for whatever of your garments touches the ground [dragging below the ankles] is in the Fire.'
