Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11554 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ صَاحِبُ الْمَغَازِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَشَى مَعَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَقِيعِ الْغَرْقَدِ ثُمَّ وَجَّهَهُمْ فَقَالَ «انْطَلِقُوا عَلَى اسْمِ اللهِ اللهُمَّ أَعِنْهُمْ» ثُمَّ رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ يَعْنِي فِي قَتْلِ ابْنِ الْأَشْرَفِ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) walked with them to Baqi al-Gharqad, then he directed them and said: 'Go in the name of Allah. O Allah, help them.' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) returned to his house, meaning regarding the killing of Ibn al-Ashraf.
