Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11171 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْغُدَانِيُّ ثنا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَتَفْرَحُ بذهابِ الشِّتَاءِ رَحْمَةً لَمَّا يَدْخُلُ عَلَى فُقَرَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنَ الشِّدَّةِ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, the angels rejoice at the departure of winter out of mercy for the hardship that befalls the poor believers.'
