Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11030 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْيَمَانِيِّ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ «مَنْ بَدَا جَفَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ الصَّيْدَ غَفَلَ وَمَنْ أَتَى السُّلْطَانَ افْتُتِنَ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever settles in the desert becomes rough; whoever follows game becomes heedless; and whoever comes to the ruler will be tempted.'
