English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) designated Dhul Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of Sham, Qarn for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen — for their own people and for whoever passes through them intending Hajj or Umrah. Whoever is closer than those points begins from where he starts his journey, even the people of Makkah begin from Makkah.'
