Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10828 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ هُرْمُزَ أَنَّ نَجْدَةَ الْحَرُورِيَّ حِينَ حَجَّ فِي فِتْنَةِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ §سَهْمِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى لِمَنْ يَرَاهُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هُوَ لِقُرْبَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that Najdah al-Haruri, when he went for Hajj during the conflict of Ibn al-Zubayr, sent to Ibn Abbas asking him about the share of the near relatives — for whom does he consider it? Ibn Abbas said: 'It is for the near relatives of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).'
