Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10726 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَبِثَ بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas and Aisha narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah for ten years with the Quran being revealed to him, and in Madinah for ten years with it being revealed to him.
