Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10718 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ بِقُصَّةٍ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ نِسَاءَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كُنَّ يَجْعَلْنَ هَذَا فِي رُءُوسِهِنَّ فَلُعِنَّ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْمَسَاجِدُ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out holding a hair piece and said: 'The women of the Children of Israel used to put this in their hair, so they were cursed and the mosques were forbidden to them.'
