Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10495 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ مُغَلِّسٍ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْكَنُودِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُوَيْمِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ خَوَاتِيمِ الذَّهَبِ»
English Translation
'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to me: 'Recite to me.' I said: 'Shall I recite to you when it was revealed to you?' He said: 'I love to hear it from someone else.' So I opened Surah al-Nisa' and recited. When I reached: 'How will it be when We bring from every nation a witness...' I saw the Prophet's eyes flowing with tears."
