Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who supplicates for them." This is also narrated by Muslim through his own chain from Abu Hurayrah.
