Arabic (Original)
نَا نَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:" مَنْ أَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ , فَلا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لا يَتَصَدَّقَ".
English Translation
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the verse: 'His example is like that of the dog' (al-A'raf: 176) — He said: 'This is a parable of the one who was given knowledge but did not act upon it — he is like a dog that pants whether you chase it away or leave it alone.'
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: جو شخص اپنے مال کی زکوٰۃ ادا کر دے تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ وہ صدقہ نہ کرے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 930]
