نا نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: نَا الْعَوَّامُ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ, قَالَ:" حَبْلُ اللَّهِ: هُوَ الْجَمَاعَةُ".
English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the verse: 'And remain stationed' (al-ribat) (Aal Imran: 200): This means guarding the frontiers of the Muslim lands.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: اللہ کا حبل جماعت ہے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 520]
