نَاأَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: كَانَشُرَيْحٌ, يَقُولُ:" الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ سورة البقرة آية 237: الزَّوْجُ",
English Translation
Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) used to say regarding 'The one in whose hand is the marriage tie' (al-Baqarah: 237): It is the husband.
Urdu Translation
شریح رحمہ اللہ فرمایا کرتے تھے: نکاح کا اختیار شوہر کے ہاتھ میں ہوتا ہے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 385]
