Arabic (Original)
نا نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَأَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْسَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ:" كَانَ شِعَارُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ: عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، وَشِعَارُ الأَنْصَارِ: عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ".
English Translation
'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) ten thousand dirhams each, except for 'A'ishah who received twelve thousand.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے: مہاجرین کا شعار تھا:”عبداللہ۔“اور انصار کا شعار تھا:”عبدالرحمن۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 4085]
