Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ , وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ،" أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَؤُهَا كَذَلِكَ".
English Translation
Al-Hasan (al-Basri) said: "Surah al-Fatihah is the mother of the Quran, and no prayer is valid without it."
Urdu Translation
عباد بن راشد رحمہ اللہ اور دیگر رواۃ، حسن رحمہ اللہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ بھی اسے اسی طرح پڑھتے تھے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 271]
