ناعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِيأَبُو هَانِئٍ، عَنْعَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْفَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" كُلُّ مَيِّتٍ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ إِلا الْمُرَابِطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُنَمَّى لَهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَيُؤَمَّنُ مِنْ فَتَّانِ الْقَبْرِ".
English Translation
Fadalah ibn 'Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: "The record of every deceased person's deeds is sealed, except for the one who guards the frontier in the cause of Allah — his deeds continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection, and he is safe from the trials of the grave."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا فضالہ بن عبید رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے:”ہر میت کے عمل پر مہر لگ جاتی ہے مگر اللہ کی راہ میں سرحد پر پہرہ دینے والے کا عمل قیامت تک بڑھتا رہتا ہے اور قبر کے عذاب سے محفوظ رہتا ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3591]
