Arabic (Original)
نا نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَإِذَا حَمَلَ عَلَى الْبَعِيرِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَهُ:" إِذَا أَرَادَ الشَّامَ، إِذَا جِئْتَ وَادِيَ الْقُرَى مِنْ طَرِيقِ الشَّامِ فَاصْنَعْ بِهِ مَا تَصْنَعُ بِمَالِكَ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ مِصْرَ قَالَ: إِذَا جِئْتَ سُقْيَا مِنْ طَرِيقِ مِصْرَ فَاصْنَعْ بِهِ مَا تَصْنَعُ بِمَالِكَ".
English Translation
Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), when he gave a camel in the cause of Allah, would say to the recipient heading to Syria: "When you reach Wadi al-Qura on the Syrian route, do with it as you would with your own property." And if heading to Egypt: "When you reach Suqya on the Egyptian route, do with it as you would with your own property."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما جب کسی اونٹ کو اللہ کی راہ میں دیتے تو کہتے:”جب شام کے راستے پر وادی القریٰ پہنچو تو اپنے مال کی طرح برتاؤ کرو۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3536]
