Arabic (Original)
ناسُفْيَانُ، عَنِالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ".
English Translation
Umm Atiyyah reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A woman should not mourn for any deceased person beyond three days, except for her husband — she mourns for four months and ten days. She should not wear dyed garments except a garment of asb (rough fabric), nor use kohl, nor touch perfume, except for a small amount of qust or azfar when she purifies herself after her menses."

سیدنا ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ عليه وسلم نے فرمایا:”بچہ بستر والے کا ہے اور زناکار کو پتھر ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 3308]
