Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَانُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَيْفٍ، عَنِالْحَسَنِفِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا سورة البقرة آية 69، قَالَ:" هِيَ السَّوْدَاءُ شَدِيدَةُ السَّوَادِ".
English Translation
'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This Quran is the banquet of Allah, so enter His banquet as much as you are able. This Quran is the rope of Allah, and the clear light, and the beneficial cure."
Urdu Translation
حسن بصری رحمہ اللہ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس فرمان:﴿صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا﴾[سورہ البقرہ: 69]کے بارے میں فرمایا:”یہ سیاہ، گہری سیاہی مائل رنگ کی ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 192]
