حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَاهُشَيْمٌ، عَنْحُصَيْنٍ، عَنْعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ:" كَانَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍيَخْتِمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي ثَلاثٍ، لا يَسْتَعِينُ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ النَّهَارِ إِلا بِالْيَسِيرِ".
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "It will be said to the companion of the Quran: 'Recite and ascend, and recite with measured pace as you used to recite in the worldly life, for your rank will be at the last verse you recite.'"

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ تین دن میں قرآن ختم کرتے تھے اور دن میں بہت کم مدد لیتے تھے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 149]
