Arabic (Original)
نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِيالْمُطَلَّقَةِ ثَلاثًا , وَالْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا:" لا سُكْنَى لَهَا وَلا نَفَقَةَ وَتَعْتَدَانِ حَيْثُ شَاءَتَا".
English Translation
Al-Hasan al-Basri used to say regarding the woman divorced three times and the widow: "Neither has the right to housing or maintenance, and they may observe their waiting period wherever they wish."
Urdu Translation
حضرت حسن رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: طلاقِ ثلاثہ والی اور بیوہ عورت کے لیے نہ نفقہ ہے نہ رہائش، اور دونوں جہاں چاہیں عدت گزار سکتی ہیں۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 2539]
