Arabic (Original)
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "اثنان في الناس هما بهم كفر: الطعن في النسب، والنياحة على الميت" ((رواه مسلم)).
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said:The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Two things are signs of disbelief on the part of those who indulge in them: Slandering one's lineage and wailing over the dead.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: دو باتیں لوگوں میں ہیں جو ان کے لیے کفر ہیں — نسب میں طعن کرنا اور میت پر نوحہ کرنا۔ (رواہ مسلم)
