Arabic (Original)
وعن أبي ذر رضي الله عنه قال: قيل لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : أرأيت الرجل يعمل العمل من الخير، ويحمده الناس عليه؟ قال: " تلك عاجل بشرى المؤمن" ((رواه مسلم)).
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be well pleased with him) said:The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked: "Tell us about a person who does some good deed and people praise him, will this be considered as showing off?" He replied, "This is the glad tidings which a believer receives (in this life).".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عرض کیا گیا: اس شخص کے بارے میں کیا خیال ہے جو نیک عمل کرتا ہے اور لوگ اس کی تعریف کرتے ہیں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: یہ مؤمن کی نقد خوشخبری ہے۔ (رواہ مسلم)
