Arabic (Original)
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من حمل علينا السلاح، فليس منا، ومن غشنا، فليس منا" ((رواه مسلم)). وفي رواية له أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مر على صبرة طعام، فأدخل يده فيها، فنالت أصابعه بللا، فقال: " ما هذا ياصاحب الطعام؟" قال أصابته السماء يارسول الله، قال: " أفلا جعلته فوق الطعام حتى يراه الناس! من غشنا فليس منا".
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said:The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "He who takes up arms against us is none of us; and he who cheats us is none of us.".Another narration of Muslim is: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) happened to pass by a heap of corn. He thrust his hand in that (heap) and his fingers felt wetness. He said to the owner of that heap of corn, "What is this?" He replied: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! These have been drenched by rainfall." He remarked, "Why did you not place this (the drenched part of the heap) over the corn so that people might see it? He who deceives is not of us."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس نے ہم پر ہتھیار اٹھایا وہ ہم میں سے نہیں، اور جس نے ہمیں دھوکا دیا وہ ہم میں سے نہیں۔ (رواہ مسلم)۔ ایک روایت میں ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اناج کے ڈھیر کے پاس سے گزرے، اپنا ہاتھ اس میں ڈالا تو انگلیاں گیلی ہوئیں۔ ارشاد فرمایا: اے اناج والے! یہ کیا ہے؟ اس نے کہا: بارش لگ گئی تھی یا رسول اللہ! ارشاد فرمایا: تو نے اسے اوپر کیوں نہ رکھا تاکہ لوگ دیکھ لیتے؟ جس نے دھوکا دیا وہ مجھ سے نہیں۔
