Arabic (Original)
وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " فأما الركوع فعظموا فيه الرب، وأما السجود فاجتهدوا في الدعاء، فقمن أن يستجاب لكم" ((رواه مسلم)).
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Glorify your Lord in Ruku' (bowing posture) and exert yourself in supplication in prostration. Thus your supplications are liable to be accepted.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: رکوع میں اپنے رب کی تعظیم بیان کرو اور سجدے میں خوب دعا کرو کیونکہ تمہاری دعا قبول ہونے کے قابل ہے۔ (رواہ مسلم)
