Narrated by'Ali
Arabic (Original)
وعن علي رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " البخيل من ذكرت عنده، فلم يصلِ علي" ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن صحيح)).
English Translation
Hadrat 'Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned but he does not supplicate for me.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت علی المرتضیٰ کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بخیل وہ ہے جس کے سامنے میرا ذکر ہو اور وہ مجھ پر درود نہ بھیجے۔ (ترمذی)
