وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت لم يكن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصوم من شهر أكثر من شعبان فإنه كان يصوم شعبان كله وفي رواية: كان يصوم شعبان إلا قليلا. ((متفق عليه))
English Translation
Hadrat 'Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not observe voluntary Saum (fasting) so frequently during any other month as he did during Sha'ban. He observed Saum throughout the month of Sha'ban.Another narration is: He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) observed Saum during the whole month of Sha'ban except a few days..
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم شعبان سے زیادہ کسی مہینے میں نفل روزے نہیں رکھتے تھے، آپ پورا شعبان روزے رکھتے تھے۔ ایک اور روایت میں ہے: آپ پورا شعبان روزے رکھتے مگر تھوڑے سے دن چھوڑتے تھے۔
