Arabic (Original)
وعن أسامة رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مر على مجلس فيه أخلاط من المسلمين والمشركين -عبدة الأوثان واليهود- فسلم عليهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" ((متفق عليه)).
English Translation
Hadrat Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by a mixed company of people which included Muslims, polytheists and Jews, and he gave them the greeting (i.e., saying As- Salamu 'Alaikum)..
Urdu Translation
حضرت اسامہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک مجلس کے پاس سے گزرے جس میں مسلمان، مشرکین (بت پرست) اور یہودی ملے جلے بیٹھے تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں سلام کیا۔ (متفق علیہ)
