Arabic (Original)
وعن أبي عيسى المغيرة بن شعبة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إن الله تعالى حرم عليكم عقوق الأمهات، ومنعًا وهات، ووأد البنات، وكره لكم قيل وقال، وكثرة السؤال ، وإضاعة المال" ((متفق عليه)) .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu 'Isa (upon him be peace) Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Allah has forbidden you: disobedience to your mothers, to withhold (what you should give), or demand (what you do not deserve), and to bury your daughters alive. And Allah dislikes idle talk, to ask too many questions (for things which will be of no benefit to one), and to waste your wealth"..
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوعیسیٰ مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے تم پر حرام فرمایا ہے: ماؤں کی نافرمانی، (لوگوں کا حق) روکنا اور (ناحق) مانگنا، لڑکیوں کو زندہ دفنانا۔ اور تمہارے لیے ناپسند فرمایا ہے: بیہودہ باتیں، بہت زیادہ سوال کرنا اور مال ضائع کرنا۔
