Arabic (Original)
وعن عائشة رضى الله عنها قالت: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلى من الليل إحدى عشرا ركعة، فإذا طلع الفجر صلى ركعتين خفيفتين ، ثم اضطجع على شقه الأيمن حتى يجئ المؤذن فيؤذنه ((متفق عليه)).
English Translation
Hadrat 'Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to offer eleven Rak'ah of optional Salat (prayers) in the latter part of night. When it was about dawn, he would offer two short Rak'ah and then would lie down on his right side till the Mu'adhdhin (one who calls for prayer) would come to inform him that the congregation had gathered (for prayer)..
Urdu Translation
حضرت حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رات کو گیارہ رکعت نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ جب فجر کا وقت ہوتا تو دو ہلکی رکعتیں (سنتیں) پڑھتے، پھر دائیں کروٹ پر لیٹ جاتے یہاں تک کہ مؤذن آتا اور آپ کو (نماز کی) اطلاع دیتا۔ (متفق علیہ)
