Arabic (Original)
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضى الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لا تلبسوا الحرير؛ فإن من لبسه في الدنيا لم يلبسه في الآخرة" .((متفق عليه))
English Translation
`Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Do not wear silk (clothes). For whoever wears (them) in this life will be deprived of them in the Hereafter." .
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ریشم نہ پہنو کیونکہ جس نے دنیا میں پہنا وہ آخرت میں نہیں پہنے گا۔ (متفق علیہ)
