Arabic (Original)
وعن محمد بن عباد قال: سألت جابرًا رضي الله عنه: أنهى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صوم يوم الجمعة؟ قال: نعم ((متفق عليه)).
English Translation
Muhammad bin 'Abbad (may Allah be well pleased with him) said:I asked Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him). Did the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prohibit fasting on Friday?" He said, "Yes.".
Urdu Translation
محمد بن عباد سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا: کیا نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے جمعے کے دن روزہ رکھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہاں۔ (متفق علیہ)
