Arabic (Original)
عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: سَمِعْت رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم يَقُولُ: " بُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ: شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ". .
English Translation
On the authority of Abu 'Abdur-Rahman 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) state: "Islam has been built upon five: testifying that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is the Beloved Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, paying the zakat, performing the Hajj to the House, and fasting in Ramadan."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو عبدالرحمٰن حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا: اسلام کی بنیاد پانچ چیزوں پر ہے: اس بات کی گواہی دینا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد (صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں، نماز قائم کرنا، زکوٰة ادا کرنا، بیت اللہ کا حج کرنا، اور رمضان کے روزے رکھنا۔
