Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ، يَقُولُ أَنْبَأَنَا رَجُلٌ، مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُنَادِيَ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم يَعْنِي فِي لَيْلَةٍ مَطِيرَةٍ فِي السَّفَرِ يَقُولُ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat 'Amr bin Aws (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "A man of Thaqif told us that he heard the caller of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on a rainy night during a journey saying: 'Hayya 'ala as-salah, Hayya 'ala al'falah, sallu fi rihalikum (Come to prayer, come to prosperity, pray in your dwellings)
Urdu Translation
عمرو بن اوس کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں قبیلہ ثقیف کے ایک شخص نے خبر دی کہ اس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے منادی کو سفر میں بارش کی رات میں «حى على الصلاة، حى على الفلاح، صلوا في رحالكم» نماز کے لیے آؤ، فلاح ( کامیابی ) کے لیے آؤ، اپنے ڈیروں میں نماز پڑھ لو کہتے سنا ۱؎۔
