Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] say: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the Muhajir is the one who forsakes (Hajara) that which Allah has forbidden to him
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا: مسلمان وہ ہے جس کی زبان اور ہاتھ سے دوسرے مسلمان محفوظ رہیں، اور مہاجر وہ ہے جو ان چیزوں کو چھوڑ دے جن سے اللہ نے منع فرمایا ہے۔
