أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ قَدِمَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَسْلَمُوا ثُمَّ مَرِضُوا فَبَعَثَ بِهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى لِقَاحٍ لِيَشْرَبُوا مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا فَكَانُوا فِيهَا ثُمَّ عَمَدُوا إِلَى الرَّاعِي غُلاَمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَتَلُوهُ وَاسْتَاقُوا اللِّقَاحَ فَزَعَمُوا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ عَطِّشَ مَنْ عَطَّشَ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ اللَّيْلَةَ " . فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي طَلَبِهِمْ فَأُخِذُوا فَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ . وَبَعْضُهُمْ يَزِيدُ عَلَى بَعْضٍ إِلاَّ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ اسْتَاقُوا إِلَى أَرْضِ الشِّرْكِ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "Some 'Arab people came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] and accepted Islam, then they became sick. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] sent them to some milk camels to drink their milk. While they were with them, they attacked the herdsman, who was a slave of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW], and killed him. They drove off the camels, and claimed that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] had said: 'O Allah, make thirsty the one who makes the family of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) thirsty tonight.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] sent (men) after them, and they were caught. Then he had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes gouged out." Some of them (the narrators) added more than others, except that in his narration of this Hadith, Hadrat Mu'awiyah said: "They drove them off to the land of Shirk
Urdu Translation
حضرت سعید بن المسیب فرماتے ہیں: عرب کے کچھ لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آئے اور اسلام قبول کیا پھر بیمار ہو گئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں دودھ دینے والی اونٹنیوں کے پاس بھیجا تاکہ ان کا دودھ پئیں۔ وہ ان میں رہے پھر انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے غلام چرواہے کو قتل کر دیا اور اونٹنیاں ہانک لے گئے۔ لوگوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے اللہ! جس نے آل محمد (صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو آج رات پیاسا رکھا اسے پیاسا رکھ۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان کے تعاقب میں آدمی بھیجے اور وہ پکڑے گئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان کے ہاتھ پاؤں کٹوائے اور آنکھیں نکلوائیں۔
