Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَيُّوبُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ فِيمَا لاَ يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ " .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat 'Imran (may Allah be well pleased with him) bin Husain that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:"There is no vow to commit an act of disobedience, and no vow concerning that which the son of Adam (upon him be peace) does not possess
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کی نافرمانی میں نذر نہیں، اور نہ ہی کسی ایسی چیز میں ہے جس کا ابن آدم مالک نہ ہو ۔
