Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:"The child is the bed's and for the fornicator is the stone
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”بچہ فراش والے کا ہے ( یعنی جس کی بیوی ہو اس کا مانا جائے گا ) اور زنا کار کے لیے پتھر ہے“ ۱؎۔
