Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ نُرَى إِلاَّ الْحَجَّ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِسَرِفَ حِضْتُ فَدَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَا أَبْكِي فَقَالَ " مَا لَكِ أَنَفِسْتِ " . فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ . قَالَ " هَذَا أَمْرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ فَاقْضِي مَا يَقْضِي الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَنْ لاَ تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ " . وَضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ نِسَائِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat ' Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) said: "We went out with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with no intention other than Hajj. When he was in Sarif [1] I began menstruating. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) entered upon me and I was weeping. He said: 'What is the matter with you? Has your Nifas begun?' [2] I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'This is something that Allah the Mighty and Sublime has decreed for the daughter of Adam (upon him be peace). Do what the pilgrims do, but do not perform tawaf around the House.' And the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives." Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے، ہمیں صرف حج کرنا تھا، جب مقام سرف آیا تو میں حائضہ ہو گئی، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میرے پاس آئے، اور اس وقت میں رو رہی تھی آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پوچھا: کیا بات ہے؟ حائضہ ہو گئی ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا: ہاں، آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ ایسی چیز ہے جسے اللہ عزوجل نے آدم زادیوں کے لیے مقدر کر دیا ہے، تو وہ سارے کام کرو جو حاجی کرتا ہے سوائے اس کے کہ خانہ کعبہ کا طواف نہ کرنا ، نیز رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنی بیویوں کی طرف سے گائے کی قربانی کی ۔
