Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ فُلاَنًا لاَ يُفْطِرُ نَهَارًا الدَّهْرَ . قَالَ " لاَ صَامَ وَلاَ أَفْطَرَ " .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat 'Imran (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "It was submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), so and so never broke his fast, even for one day for the rest of his life.' He said: 'He has neither fasted nor broken his fast."" 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ عرض کیا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! فلاں شخص کبھی دن کو افطار نہیں کرتا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اس نے نہ روزہ رکھا، نہ افطار کیا“۔
