Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلاَ تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا لِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Ayyub (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:"Do not face towards the Qiblah nor turn your backs toward it when defecating or urinating, rather face toward the east or the west
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوایوب انصاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: پاخانہ و پیشاب کے لیے قبلہ کی طرف منہ یا پیٹھ نہ کرو، بلکہ پورب یا پچھم کی طرف کرو ۔
