Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَسِيرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ لاَ نَخَافُ إِلاَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "We used to travel with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) between Makkah and Al-Madinah, fearing nothing but Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and praying two rak'ahs
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ مکہ اور مدینہ کے درمیان سفر کرتے تھے، ہمیں اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی کا ڈر نہیں ہوتا تھا، پھر بھی ہم دو رکعتیں ہی پڑھتے تھے۔
