أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَلَائِكَةٌ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَى مَنَازِلِهِمْ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتْ الصُّحُفُ وَاسْتَمَعُوا الْخُطْبَةَ فَالْمُهَجِّرُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَدَنَةً ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي كَبْشًا حَتَّى ذَكَرَ الدَّجَاجَةَ وَالْبَيْضَةَ.
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who attributed it to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): "On the day of Jumu'ah, at every door of the Masjid there are angels who record the people according to their order of arrival, the first then the next. When the Imam comes out, the scrolls are rolled up and they listen to the sermon. The one who comes earliest to the prayer is like the one who offers a camel as sacrifice, then the one after him is like one who offers a cow, then the one after him is like one who offers a ram" -- until he mentioned a hen and an egg.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوجعد ضمری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ (جنہیں صحابی ہونے کا شرف حاصل ہے) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس نے تین جمعہ سستی سے چھوڑ دیا، اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے دل پر مہر لگا دے گا ۱؎۔
