Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَلاَ يَرْفَعْ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُلْتَمَعَ بَصَرُهُ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat 'Ubaidullah bin Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that:A man from among the companions of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed him that he heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: 'If any one of you in praying, let him not lift his gaze to the sky, or his eyesight will be taken away
Urdu Translation
حضرت ایک صحابی رسول رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز میں ہو تو وہ اپنی نظروں کو آسمان کی طرف نہ اٹھائے، ایسا نہ ہو کہ اس کی نظر اچک لی جائے ۔
