Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ فَقَرَأَ فِي الْعِشَاءِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الأُولَى بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was on a journey and he recited: 'By the fig and the olive' in the first rak'ah of isha
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک سفر میں تھے، تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عشاء کی پہلی رکعت میں «والتین والزیتون» پڑھی۔
