Arabic (Original)
حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي بن عبد الحميد الصنعاني بمكة، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن عبّاد، حدثنا عبد الرزاق، حدثني بشّر بن رافع، عن يحيى بن أبي كثير، عن أبي سَلَمة، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"المؤمنُ غرٌّ كريم، والفاجرُ خِبٌّ لئيم"(1).
English Translation
'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: "A woman from the Ansar came to me and said: 'Is it true that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The punishment of the grave is real?' I said: 'Yes.' She said: 'May Allah never relieve the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) from the punishment of the grave!'" Al-Hakim noted it has supporting narrations.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”مومن سادہ لوح اور کریم (نیک دل) ہوتا ہے، اور بدکار مکار اور کمینہ ہوتا ہے۔“[المستدرك على الصحيحين/كتاب الإيمان/حدیث: 131]
