English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Surplus water should not be withheld in order thereby to withhold the grass as well." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 980]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ زائد پانی اس وجہ سے نہ روکا جائے کہ اس کی وجہ سے گھاس بھی روکی جائے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 980]
